How long will it take to receive my order?

Typically an order for candles can be processed and shipped out within 3-5 business days but may take up to 7 business days. The processing and shipping times depend on the level of customization required by the customer and the size of the order. It also depends on whether the order is going to a destination in Canada or the United States. Please note that the Shipping providers cannot guarantee delivery dates during a period of COVID and peak holiday seasons.

How can track my order?

The seller will e-mail the tracking details including the numbers once the order has been shipped. These tracking details will also include the specific website that the customer will need to access to track the location and status of the shipment. It may take up to 24-48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

Can I pick up my order locally?

If you live in Mississauga or close to Mississauga such that you can pick up your purchase then the option to order locally is available. It is important to contact me directly before placing your order so that I can revise the listing to exclude shipping costs.

Do you offer international shipping?

For any international orders outside of Canada and the United States, it is important to contact me directly before placing any orders. This is because I will need to provide you with an accurate quote for shipping costs and details of how the items will be shipped to you both safely and promptly. Please note that if there are any custom duty fees assigned by your country then it is the customer that will be responsible for bearing these charges.

What if my candle arrived damaged?

To ensure that the packages reach my customers undamaged I spend a great amount of time packaging your order. Your order is fully bubble-wrapped so that there is no damage to the candles in transit. Please note that I am not responsible for any damage caused by the carrier but will always be available to work out a solution with you. If your package has been damaged in transit, you must contact me within 24 hours and provide me with detailed photos of the damaged candles.

Do you offer rush orders?

I can process rush orders for an additional charge and that is typically 10% of the purchase price.

Do you accept returns for custom orders?

Since all candles are handcrafted and personalized to the customer’s specification, all sales of custom orders are final sales and are non-refundable. It is important for the customer to carefully review their specifications due to avoid any errors as any typos or spelling errors will be the responsibility of the customer and not the seller.

What is your processing time?

On a best efforts basis, the seller will try to process all orders within 3-5 business days. If the seller has a high volume of orders in her queue, then there could be a delay in shipping the package but it will be a short one. The seller encourages all buyers to place their orders promptly to allow the seller the lead time she needs to ensure that the package reaches the customer at his or her desired delivery date. If there is a significant delay in the shipment of your order then the seller will contact you either through e-mail or telephone call.

Does adding personalization delay my order?

Generally, personalization will not delay an order but it does depend on the complexity of the request. If the request requires some complex customization then this could mean that the seller may need additional time to process the order. Clients need to place orders promptly to allow the seller enough time to process orders on time.

How much personalization on my candle cost?

As requests do differ among customers it is best to contact the seller directly for a quote.

Can I add or edit personalization once my order has been placed?

Once an order is placed there is no further opportunity to further personalize or make changes to the original specifications. The seller will begin working on the candles as soon as possible and given the fact that each candle is hand-crafted to a customer’s specifications, it is difficult to rework a candle once it is started.

Can I burn the candles?

Please note that the seller uses acrylic paints to make each design and it is further decorated with rhinestones and this is then sealed with a special sealant so that the design is preserved. The seller recommends not burning the candles and using them instead for decorative purposes unless the candles are tealights. If you do decide to burn the candles then the seller recommends you do not do it for more than a few hours at a time. The seller also recommends trimming the wick between uses. It is also important to note that when you burn the candle the outside décor (sides) will not burn. The candle will melt down the middle leaving the candle hollowed out. You can also add a tea light after you burn it about halfway so that it lasts forever.
